لِيَكْفُرُوا بِمَا آتَيْنَاهُمْ وَلِيَتَمَتَّعُوا ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
um undankbar zu sein für das, was Wir ihnen gegeben haben, und um zu genießen; sie werden (es noch) erfahren.
Um sich undankbar zu zeigen für das, was Wir ihnen haben zukommen lassen, und um zu genießen. Sie werden es noch zu wissen bekommen.
And deny what We had given them, in order to go on enjoying themselves. They will come to know soon.
And so let them show ingratitude for all that We have granted them, and so let them give themselves up to the enjoyment of the worldly life; but they will come to know.
With the result that they show ingratitude for what We have given them and also with the result that they indulge in worldly enjoyment (though only for a short time). But they will soon come to know (the consequences of their conduct).
and thus 58 they show utter ingratitude for all that We have vouchsafed them, and go on [thoughtlessly] enjoying their worldly life.
So that they become ingrate for that which We have vouchsafed unto them, and that they enjoy themselves; but presently they shall know.
In order to be ungrateful for Our favours; and to use the comforts; therefore they will soon come to know.
And when they ride in the ship they call upon Allah, making their religion seem sincere to Him; but when He delivers them safely to the shore, behold, they associate others with Him;
To disbelieve with what We gave/brought them, and to live long/enjoy, so they will/shall know.
so that they may become ungrateful for the blessing that We have bestowed on them and enjoy the life of this world! They will soon come to know the result of this behavior.
And the life of this world is but a sport and a play. And the home of the Hereafter, that surely is the Life, did they but know!
Let them be ungrateful to what We have granted them. Let them enjoy themselves, but they will soon know (the consequences of their deeds).
That they may disbelieve in that which We have given them, and that they may take their ease. But they will come to know.
Thus they become ungrateful for what We have given them, so that they may enjoy; but they shall soon know.
So that they become ingrate for that which We have given them, and that they take their enjoyment (as a warning and a threat), but they will come to know.
Disdaining ungratefully Our gifts, and giving themselves up to (worldly) enjoyment! But soon will they know.
