وَلَمَّا رَأَى الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الْأَحْزَابَ قَالُوا هَٰذَا مَا وَعَدَنَا اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَصَدَقَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ ۚ وَمَا زَادَهُمْ إِلَّا إِيمَانًا وَتَسْلِيمًا
Und als die Gläubigen die Gruppierungen sahen, sagten sie: "Das ist, was Allah und Sein Gesandter uns versprochen haben; Allah und Sein Gesandter sagen die Wahrheit." Und es mehrte ihnen nur den Glauben und die Ergebung.
Und als die Gläubigen die Parteien sahen, sagten sie: »Das ist, was Gott und sein Gesandter uns versprochen haben. Gott und sein Gesandter sagen die Wahrheit.« Und es hat ihren Glauben und ihre Ergebenheit nur vermehrt.
When the faithful saw (the armies of) the allied tribes, they said: "This is what God and His Apostle had promised us; and God and His Apostle say the truth;" and this enhanced their faith and obedience.
When the (true) believers saw the Confederates before them, they said: "This is what God and His Messenger promised us, and God is true and so is His Messenger. This has but increased them in faith and submission.
And as soon as the believers saw (the troops of) the confederates they said, `This is what Allâh and His Messenger promised us (about the defeat and discomfiture of the hosts of disbelievers and eventual victory of Islam); and Allâh and His Messenger spoke the truth. Look! this (entire episode) made them all the more faithful and obedient (to God).
And [so,] when the believers saw the Con-federates [advancing against them], they said, "This is what God and His Apostle have promised us!"-and, "Truly spoke God and His Apostle!" 25 -and all this but increased their faith and their readiness to surrender themselves unto God.
And when the believers saw the confederates, they said: this is that which Allah and His apostle had promised us; and Allah and His apostle had spoken the truth. And it only increased them in belief and in self-surrender.
And when the Muslims saw the armies, they said, “This is what Allah and His Noble Messenger promised us, and Allah and His Noble Messenger have spoken the truth”; and it did not increase anything for them but faith and acceptance of Allah’s will.
Verily, you have in the Messenger of Allah an excellent example for him who hopes in Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah much.
And when the believers saw/understood the groups/parties, they said: "That (is) what God promised us and His messenger, and God was/is truthful and His messenger." And (it) did not increase them except belief and submission/surrender.
When the true believers saw the confederate forces they said: "This is what Allah and His Rasool had promised us: Allah and his Rasool were absolutely true." This increased them all the more in their faith and their zeal in obedience.
And follow that which is revealed to thee from thy Lord. Surely Allah is ever Aware of what you do;
On seeing the confederate tribes, the believers said, "This is what God and His Messenger had promised us. The promise of God and His Messenger is true." This only strengthens their faith and their desire of submission to the will of God.
And when the true believers saw the clans, they said: This is that which Allah and His messenger promised us. Allah and His messenger are true. It did but confirm them in their faith and resignation.
And when the believers saw the allies, they said: This is what Allah and His Messenger promised us, and Allah and His Messenger spoke the truth; and it only increased them in faith and submission.
And when the believers saw Al-Ahzab (the Confederates), they said: "This is what Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad) had promised us, and Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad) had spoken the truth, and it only added to their faith and to their submissiveness (to Allah).
When the Believers saw the Confederate forces, they said: "This is what Allah and his Messenger had promised us, and Allah and His Messenger told us what was true." And it only added to their faith and their zeal in obedience.
