بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ
Den Gläubigen wird es ja wohl ergehen,
Wohl ergeht es den Gläubigen,
THE TRUE BELIEVERS will be successful,
Prosperous indeed are the believers.
Truly, success in this life and in the Hereafter does come to the believers,
TRULY, to a happy state shall the believers:
Blissful are the believers´-
Successful indeed are the believers.
And strive in the cause of Allah, with the effort which is His due. He has chosen you, and has not laid upon you any hardship (or hindrance) in religion - the faith of your father Abraham. He has named you Muslims of old and in this (Scripture), that the Messenger may be a witness against you, and that you may be witnesses against mankind. So establish regular (and correct) prayer, give regular (and correct) charity, and hold fast to Allah; He is your Protecting Friend; a blessed Patron and blessed Helper.
The believers had succeeded/won.
Indeed successful are those believers
And strive hard for Allah with due striving. He has chosen you and has not laid upon you any hardship in religion -- the faith of your father Abraham. He named you Muslims before and in this, that the Messenger may be a bearer of witness to you, and you may be bearers of witness to the people; so keep up your prayer and pay the poor-rate and hold fast to Allah. He is your Protector; excellent the Protector and excellent the Helper!
Triumphant indeed are the believers,
Successful indeed are the believers
Successful indeed are the believers,
The believers must (eventually) win through,-
