Ibrahim - Abraham - Abraham - 14:4 (Sure: 14, Vers: 4)

Sure: 14 Vers: 3Sure: 14 Vers: 5

Original Book

Bubenheim - Elyas

Und Wir haben keinen Gesandten gesandt, außer in der Sprache seines Volkes, damit er ihnen (die Botschaft) klar macht. Allah läßt dann in die Irre gehen, wen Er will, und leitet recht, wen Er will. Und Er ist der Allmächtige und Allweise.

Khoury

Und Wir haben keinen Gesandten entsandt, außer (mit einer Botschaft) in der Sprache seines Volkes, damit er (sie) ihnen deutlich macht. Gott führt dann irre, wen Er will, und Er leitet recht, wen Er will. Und Er ist der Mächtige, der Weise.

Ahmed Ali

We never sent a messenger who did not speak the tongue of his people, that he may explain to them distinctly. God leads whosoever He wills astray, and shows whoever He wills the way: He is all-mighty and all-wise.

Ali Ünal

We have sent no Messenger save with the tongue of his people, that he might make (the Message) clear to them. Then God leads whomever He wills astray, and He guides whomever He wills. He is the All-Glorious with irresistible might, the All-Wise.

Amatul Rahman Omar

And We sent no Messenger but (he spoke) in the language of his people so that he might make (all Our Messages) clear to them, yet Allâh leaves in error those who wish to remain in error and guides him who wishes to be guided (to the right path). And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

Asad

AND NEVER have We sent forth any apostle otherwise than [with a message] in his own people's tongue, so that he might make [the truth] clear unto them; 3  but God lets go astray him that wills [to go astray], and guides him that wills [to be guided] - for He alone is almighty, truly wise. 4

Daryabadi

And We sent not an apostle but with the speech of his people that he might expound unto them. Then Allah sendeth astray whomsoever He will, and guideth whomsoever He will. And He is the Mighty, the Wise.

Faridul Haque

And We sent every Noble Messenger with the same language as his people *, so that he may clearly explain to them; then Allah sends astray whomever He wills, and He guides whomever He wills; and He only is the Most Honourable, the Wise. (* Prophet Mohammed - peace and blessings be upon him - was taught all the languages as he is sent towards all.)

Hamid S. Aziz

We never sent a Messenger save with the language of his people, that he might clarify the message to them. Then Allah leads whom He will astray, and guides whom He will; and He is the Mighty, the Wise.

Literal

And We did not send from a messenger except with his nation`s tongue/language , to clarify/explain to them, so God misguides whom He wills/wants, and He guides whom He wills/wants, and He is the glorious/mighty , the wise/judicious.

Malik

We have not sent any Rasool except that he speaks the language of his own people, so that he could explain to them clearly. Then Allah leaves in error whom He will and guides whom He pleases: He is the Mighty, the Wise.

Maulana Mohammad Ali

Those who love this world’s life more than the Hereafter, and turn away from Allah’s path, and would have it crooked. Those are far astray.

Muhammad Sarwar

All the Messengers that We sent spoke the language of their people so that they could explain (their message to them). God guides or causes to go astray whomever He wants. He is Majestic and All-wise.

Pickthall

And We never sent a messenger save with the language of his folk, that he might make (the message) clear for them. Then Allah sendeth whom He will astray, and guideth whom He will. He is the Mighty, the Wise.

Shakir

And We did not send any messenger but with the language of his people, so that he might explain to them clearly; then Allah makes whom He pleases err and He guides whom He pleases and He is the Mighty, the Wise.

The Noble Koran

And We sent not a Messenger except with the language of his people, in order that he might make (the Message) clear for them. Then Allah misleads whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

Yusuf Ali

We sent not a messenger except (to teach) in the language of his (own) people, in order to make (things) clear to them. Now Allah leaves straying those whom He pleases and guides whom He pleases: and He is Exalted in power, full of Wisdom.
